The loveable country-pup-turned-city-dog Amberella is back for another adventure in Rosemarie Kaupp's newest children's book, "The Amberella Tales: Amberella and Double Double Trouble" (published by Trafford Publishing).

After a fairy "tail" wedding, Amberella and Prince find themselves the proud parents of four mischievous puppies, who are interested in anything but obedience school. With the help of French poodles Zozue and Tutsu and the adoring Grand-Mère, Amberella teaches her puppies to respect their family and others, no matter their differences.

Inspired by Kaupp's real dog, "The Amberella Tales" presents readers with a lasting lesson about being different. Kaupp also includes basic French words and translations so young readers can begin building their French vocabulary.

"The book is an opportunity for young readers to be introduced to a new language, culture and country," Kaupp writes. "There's a hidden message that everyone makes mistakes, but mistakes can be handled by working together."

Praise for "The Amberella Tales":

"Children learn to be themselves, make friends who are different, and have adventures-even be disobedient-and retain the love, fun, and acceptance of a loving family. This book deserves recognition for its charming, positive content."
