American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) and the Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts at Northwestern University announce the Equity cast members of Something in the Game: An All-American Musical, directed and choreographed by David H. Bell with book by Buddy Farmer, music by Michael Mahler and lyrics by David H. Bell and Michael Mahler. The production will run July 20 - August 5 at the Josephine Louis Theater, 20 Arts Circle Drive, on the Northwestern Evanston campus. The Press Opening is Saturday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m.

It is always exciting when you sit in a theater to see the world premiere of a new musical. The Arena Stage's Kreeger Theater was a buzz in anticipation of SNOW CHILD which is a co-production with Alaska's Perseverance Theatre. Why Perseverance? Well, Arena Stage's Artistic Director Molly Smith actually grew up in Alaska, returned there after schooling and founded the Perseverance Theatre in Juneau. She served as Artistic Director there for 19 years before coming to Arena Stage. Four years ago, Smith and Perseverance Artistic Director Art Rotch discussed the idea for an adaptation for SNOW CHILD.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that they will present the 2018 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre to three outstanding contributors to the Broadway industry - New York Times' culture photographer Sara Krulwich, costume beader, Bessie Nelson, and the Ernest Winzer Cleaners.

Disney Theatrical Productions is pleased to announce that Clinton Greenspan will star in the title role in the North American touring production of Disney's Aladdin starting on April 7 in Denver, where the hit Broadway musical will play a limited three-week engagement at The Buell Theatre through April 28.  Greenspan, who previously understudied the iconic role on tour, succeeds original Broadway and tour star Adam Jacobs, who will play his final performance as 'Aladdin' on March 31 in Los Angeles at The Hollywood Pantages Theatre.  Tickets are on sale now at denvercenter.org.

Shakespeare Theatre Company today announces the cast of Lerner and Loewe's multiple Tony Award-winning musical Camelot. Directed by STC Associate Artistic Director Alan Paul (Kiss Me, Kate; Man of La Mancha), the classic musical will play at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F St NW) from May 22 through July 1, concluding STC's 2017-2018 mainstage season.

Sarah Soetaert, Josefina Gabrielle and Ruthie Henshall will be joining Oscar winner, Cuba Gooding Jr, in the multi award-winning CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End. Following a successful UK and international tour, and after a 5½-year absence from London, CHICAGO, the winner of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy, will begin performances at the Phoenix Theatre on Monday 26 March 2018.

The 67th Music Circus season continues with the feel-good musical comedy Sister Act, featuring an infectious score by Tony and Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken. Based on the hit 1992 film, this musical will fill the round stage with saintly sisters for the first time in Music Circus history. Underbelly Productions have today announced full casting for a brand new production of Clarke Peters' Olivier Award-winning and Tony-Award nominated musical, Five Guys Named Moe. The production will open on 14 September 2017 in a new temporary theatre in Marble Arch, London. Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Bares: Strip U raised $1,568,114 in two performances on June 18, 2017, at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom.
