The smash hit rock & roll musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story has announced its new cast for the forthcoming 30th anniversary tour which stops off at Darlington Hippodrome in September.

I had the pleasure of seeing A Bronx Tale with my friend Cassy, who had NEVER seen a musical before! (I know, right?!) I invited Cassy because the 1993 movie, off which the musical is based, is her favorite. Seriously, her cat is named Calogero, after the lead character in both the movie and the play. I was excited to see this show, and especially excited to see it through the eyes of a neophyte theater goer. I was not disappointed!

The Majestic Theatre announced its line-up of shows for the 2019-2020 North Park Lexus Broadway in San Antonio Season. Having just completed a hugely successful 6-month tour of the US & Canada, smash hit rock & roll musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary next year by making a triumphant return to its original opening venue and spiritual home, Theatre Royal Plymouth. Buddy will open on Tuesday 3rd September 2019 and play for 1 week before embarking on a UK wide tour.

Young Frankenstein announced as the winners of the fourth annual right royal West End Bake Off in aid of Acting for Others. As his Royal Highness Prince Harry prepares to marry Meghan Markle the winners, chosen by returning judge Christopher Biggins alongside Wendi Peters and Ruthie Henshall, were revealed at the event held today at St Pauls Actors Church in Covent Garden.

Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Long Day's Journey Into Night  comes to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts for a limited three-week engagement from Friday, June 8 through Sunday, July 1.
