Blackfriars Theatre leads the way into the 2017-2018 Theatre Season with a wild new take on Shakespeare's most charming comedy, Twelfth Night.

freeFall's 2017/18 season begins with an all-new adaptation of White Fang, written and directed by Jethro Compton. Based in the UK, Compton and his production company are well known for creating bold, narrative driven theatrical experiences that often present highly cinematic re-imaginings of classic stories for the stage.  freeFall Theatre Company and Jethro Compton Productions are co-producing this new vision of a literary classic right here in St. Petersburg. Local audiences will be the first to experience this world premiere before it heads to London for a run at The Park Theatre in December 2017.

'The Pharmacist,' written and performed by Samsun Knight, is a one-man show about a pharmacist who accidentally gives someone the wrong prescription, and then tries to fix his mistake. It's a story about depression and antidepressants, about heartbreak and love and about what happens when your worst mistakes hit the Internet.

City Theatre dives into a fresh season of new plays with an off-Broadway hit comedy by playwright Halley Feiffer, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. Directed by City Theatre newcomer Joshua Kahan Brody, the production runs on the Main Stage September 23 - October 15, 2017.
