The calendar may say Spring (has anyone told the weather?) but things are heating up on Broadway! Performances begin tonight for Summer: The Donna Summer Musical at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Broadway.

BroadwayWorld has a first look at A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME, a slice-of-life original musical comedy that makes its Chicago debut at Broadway In Chicago's Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) for a limited six-week engagement March 20 through April 29, 2018.

The Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to present "Sister Act: The Musical", April 13 through 22, 2018.  This reimagining of the classic film features music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors).  This exciting new musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Fans are already clamoring to get their hands on the sequel to 2018's breakout hit YA fantasy novel THE CRUEL PRINCE by Holly Black. Out this past January, it was an instant fan favorite and has been highly buzzed about on social media. This week, publisher Little, Brown revealed the cover and summary for the second book in the series, and the internet exploded with excitement.

"America's Got Talent" 2016 Finalist Brian Justin Crum has been added to the cast of "Dance to the Movies" for its upcoming engagement at Bucks County Playhouse. Crum joins Tony Dovolani, a Mirror Ball Trophy Winner and celebrity pro from "Dancing with the Stars," and Anna Trebunskaya, also a "Dancing with the Stars" celebrity pro and fan favorite, in this high-powered cast. This past week, Kendare Blake, author of the best-selling Three Dark Crowns series, revealed the cover to the third book in her quartet, TWO DARK REIGNS.
