Peter Pan - 1999 - Broadway History , Info & More

Gershwin Theatre (Broadway)
222 West 51st St. New York, NY

Peter Pan, like its namesake, is a tale which never ages. Children and adults alike have all fallen under the spell of Neverland, a place where children can fly and exciting, frightening adventures happen every day.

In 1985 Piers Chater Robinson adapted J.M. Barrie's book for the stage, and now, 25 years later, his innovative Peter Pan musical score is well known and loved, performed in professional and amateur productions worldwide and is quickly becoming the most popular musical version of Peter Pan internationally. CYT is pleased to be selected as one of the first theaters in Chicagoland to produce it!

Join all your favorite characters: Peter Pan, Wendy, John, Michael, the dastardly Captain Hook and his sidekick Smee, Tiger Lily, the Lost Boys, Pirates, Neverland Indians, Fairies, Nana the pet dog and, of course, that scary crocodile as CYT travels to Neverland like you've never experienced it before.

Tony Winner Kelli O'Hara Joins Broadway Series at Kimmel Center
by Tyler Peterson - Jun 7, 2016

? The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia welcomes Kelli O'Hara, one of Broadway's greatest leading ladies, on June 14th for the finale of their season's concert series with Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky.  O'Hara won the Tony Award one year ago today for her star performance in "The King and I".  The concert series produced by Mark Cortale began at the Kimmel Center in October with pianist/host Rudetsky and six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and continued with two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster in February and Tony-nominated star Megan Hilty in May. What differentiates this concert series from any other is the seamless mix of intimate behind-the-scenes stories from Broadway's biggest stars - prompted by the encyclopedic-minded Rudetsky's probing, funny, revealing questions - and their stellar singing of musical theatre repertoire.
