The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia welcomes Kelli O'Hara, one of Broadway's greatest leading ladies, on June 14th for the finale of their season's concert series with Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky. O'Hara won the Tony Award one year ago today for her star performance in "The King and I". The concert series produced by Mark Cortale began at the Kimmel Center in October with pianist/host Rudetsky and six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and continued with two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster in February and Tony-nominated star Megan Hilty in May. What differentiates this concert series from any other is the seamless mix of intimate behind-the-scenes stories from Broadway's biggest stars - prompted by the encyclopedic-minded Rudetsky's probing, funny, revealing questions - and their stellar singing of musical theatre repertoire. In 2014 she was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations for her performance as Francesca in the musical adaptation of "The Bridges of Madison County." That same year, she starred as Mrs. Darling in NBC's live telecast of "Peter Pan" in which she co-starred with Allison Williams and Christian Borle, and made her Metropolitan Opera debut in "The Merry Widow" with Renee Fleming. Other starring roles on Broadway include co-starring with Matthew Broderick in "Nice Work If You Can Get It" (Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle nominations), "South Pacific" at Lincoln Center (Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle nominations), co-starring with Harry Connick, Jr. in "The Pajama Game" (Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critic's Circle Award nominations), "The Light in the Piazza" (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), "Jekyll & Hyde," "Follies," "Dracula," and "Sweet Smell of Success" opposite John Lithgow.
