Liz White will make her Chichester debut as Joy Gresham, opposite Hugh Bonneville as C.S. Lyric Opera of Kansas City General Director and CEO Deborah Sandler today announced its 2019-2020 season. The season includes four mainstage productions at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, including spectacular productions of The Abduction from the Seraglio and Lucia di Lammermoor that are new to Kansas City, a beloved production of La boh me that was built right here by Lyric Opera, and the KANSAS CITY PREMIERE of The Shining. Aquila Theatre, the foremost producer of touring classical theatre in the United States, announces its next productions, William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, adapted by Desiree Sanchez and Peter Meineck. Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, composer, poet and visual artist Serj Tankian today released the soundtrack to award winning film The Last Inhabitant via his own label Serjical Strike Records. The film was theatrically released in 2016 and was well received to audiences in theatres and film festivals internationally, picking up awards and accolades along the way. The Last Inhabitant was Tankian's second film at the helm as composer, and he's since created musical scores for multiple award winning films.
