This immersive new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Brianna Kothari Barnes follows John Casey, an ambitious young songwriter trying to save his mother from an abusive marriage. After his worst choice, John wakes up in Rathskeller, an eerie dive bar in the basement of the afterlife, where a devilish Bartender and her ghostly staff offer him a deadly elixir. Featuring a punk rock score, the show asks whether a person's life can be reduced to their choices and who gets to decide. The West Coast premiere is directed by Andrew Cooper.
