Border:Home is a world-premiere staged reading written by Baker Theater's artistic director Peter Temes. The play centers around a group of volunteers stationed at the least-used border crossing between the US and Mexico who are dedicated to helping migrants cross the open desert. The piece explores the human dimensions of the immigration crisis and the struggle to make a positive contribution amid restrictive asylum policies. The staged reading is directed by Temes and features actors Peter C. Cook, David S. Klein, Hester Elwell, Raine Hoover, Ken Knight, and John Dugaw.
