The EDGE Improv to Play BPA, 11/2

By: Oct. 15, 2013

Join THE EDGE November 2 for an ingeniously improvised evening of on-the-spot comedy, all from audience suggestions. For nearly two decades, the troupe's riotous antics have inspired rave reviews from audience members and earned entertaining commentary from the troupe members themselves. Troupe member Frank Buxton, who is pleased to direct BPA's December production of "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play," says that, "At my age to be actively running with these youngsters is indeed a privilege. They make me laugh and keep me on my toes."

The troupe has earned a devoted following and performs to sell-out crowds regularly at BPA. Members include Ken Ballenger, Frank Buxton, John Ellis, Cynthia Lair, Susan MacPherson, Bhama Roget, Andrew Shields, Chris Soldevilla, and Matty Whitman. Visit THE EDGE online at www.theedgeimprov.com and www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org.

THE EDGE Improv appears first Saturdays all year at BPA, and their next performance is November 2 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, $16 for adults, and $12 for seniors, students, youth, military, and teachers, may be purchased online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206.842.8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. BPA Box Office hours are 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and one hour prior to each performance.

BPA is supported, in part, by Bainbridge Community Foundation and One Call for All.
