Fempaths: Transistor Radio Hour at Underbelly Bristo Square's Dexter

Created and performed by American transfem writer, director, and performer FEMPATH, this theatrical gig blends live music, storytelling, comedy and political performance. Performed with a live band of trans artists, the show transforms real voices from trans history, activism and culture into original songs, drawing on the words of Marsha P. Johnson, Emma Sulkowitz, and Kim Petras among others. The piece moves between comic and confessional moments, including a live sung tarot reading and an escalating erotic performance during a song titled Throat Goat. The show is created and performed by an entirely trans company, with integrated captions, wheelchair access and touch tours.
