ONE MAN MUSICAL to Return to Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe With New Lead
Edward Easton stars alongside Flo & Joan's Rosie and Nicola Dempsey at The Pleasance Beyond.
Flo & Joan's award-winning One Man Musical will return to Soho Theatre from June 17 through July 3 before heading back to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from August 5–30.
For the new run, acclaimed actor Edward Easton will take over the title role. Easton is known to Fringe audiences for the cult hit Tarot and has appeared on television in Porters, Starstruck, and The Horne Section TV Show.
Featuring live music performed by Flo & Joan, the musical follows an iconic figure from the world of musical theatre as he finally turns the spotlight on the one story he has never told: his own.
Since premiering, One Man Musical has earned widespread acclaim, including being named the No. 1 Comedy Show of 2024 by The Guardian and winning Best Show at the 2024 Chortle Awards. The production was also nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and for Best Composer, Lyricist or Book Writer at the 2025 Stage Debut Awards. Most recently, it won Best Production at the 2026 Offies, where it received two additional nominations.
Previous productions starred George Fouracres in the leading role.
The production is directed by Georgie Staight and presented by Avalon. Flo & Joan—sisters Rosie and Nicola Dempsey—perform live onstage as part of the show's band.
One Man Musical will play Soho Theatre at 9 p.m. from June 17 through July 3 before returning to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at Pleasance Beyond from August 5–30 at 4:50 p.m.
