Songwriting for Character at Hermitage Beach, Manasota Key

Grammy Award-nominated composer, lyricist, and musical theater artist Rona Siddiqui returns to Hermitage Beach for Songwriting for Character, a sunset program on Manasota Key. Siddiqui, a recipient of the Kleban Prize for lyric writing and a Jonathan Larson Grant, will offer insight into her songwriting techniques and share original work as the sun sets over the Gulf. Her credits include serving as music director for the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical A Strange Loop, written by Hermitage Fellow Michael R. Jackson, as well as collaborations with Hermitage Fellow Kirya Traber on the musical Father Time.
