Sarasota Opera presents Richard Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos as part of its 2027 Winter Opera Festival. The opera blends serious and comic theatrical traditions, weaving together the tragic story of the abandoned Ariadne with the antics of a commedia dell'arte troupe. The production runs February 27 through March 13 at the Sarasota Opera House.
