Anna in the Tropics is set to grace the stage at Asolo Repertory Theatre from February 19 to March 13, 2025. This evocative play explores the lives and challenges of a family of Cuban cigar makers in 1929 Florida, where the arrival of a new lector brings literature and new ideas into their world. Through its rich storytelling and dynamic characters, the production captures the intersection of culture, tradition, and change. The skilled cast will bring to life this poignant narrative against the backdrop of a unique historical setting.
