Single tickets for the Santa Barbara Symphony's highly anticipated 2017-18 season will go on sale at 10 am on Friday, September 15. The orchestra will present a total of nine compelling programs over the course of its coming season, which opens October 14 with an extraordinary all-Mozart concert featuring a ballet world premiere. Performances take place at the Granada Theatre, 1214 State Street in Santa Barbara. Priced from $29, tickets can be purchased at thesymphony.org or through the Granada box office, (805) 899-2222. Granada Theatre Volunteer Ambassador Program Accepting Applications

The Granada Theatre is now accepting applications for its Volunteer Ambassador Program. Created in 2008 after the renovation of The Granada Theatre was complete, the program boasts over 125 volunteers who work as ambassadors for the theater with the community, and serve an important role in delivering the best possible guest experience for every performance. The Ambassador Program will hold an orientation on Tuesday, September 19 at 6:30pm at the Granada Theatre (1214 State St.). Interested applicants are encouraged to fill out applications (available on the Granada Theatre's website here), and are required to attend the orientation and theatre tour training in order to become a Granada Volunteer Ambassador.
