Announcing the stellar cast of THE PORCINI TEST, will be ready to open at The Promenade Playhouse on July 17th. NANCY YOUNG - Hard work after training with the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Second City Hollywood paid off; following roles in the feature film Species II (1998) and the video short 2 Guys (2004), Nancy landed the female lead in the 2007 film Three Days to Vegas opposite Peter Falk. She has worked on the television series 2 Broke Girls, One Tree Hill and Castle. Recently, she appeared on stage as the female lead in It's a Wonderful Life (Mary Hatch), Night of January 16th (Karen Andre), Four Dogs And A Bone (Collette), The Sound Of Murder (Anne Norbury) and Double Indemnity (Phyllis Dickerson).

GREGORY NIEBEL - Classically trained in theatre beginning at age 13, his professional debut was at The Ahmanson Theatre in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of A Patriot for Me. In 2012, for his portrayal of Dr. Landy/Daddy in Their Eyes Saw Rain at The Company of Angels, he received an LA Weekly Annual Equity Waiver Award nomination for Best Supporting Male Actor. In 2013, he played Mel, the co-owner of a black barbershop, in The Things That Make Men Cry at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre. Recently, he landed the male lead in the independent film Sophie Gold, the Diary of a Gold Digger, now in post-production with its eyes on next year's Sundance Film Festival.

TANIA GONZALEZ - An actor, singer and dancer, her vast array of credits include Hatful of Rain and Evelyn in The Tenth Man directed by Gene Reynolds (M*A*S*H, Hogan's Heroes). film credits include George Clooney's HBO show Unscripted, E.R., The Profiler, The Rules of Engagement, The Trouble with Ross, and The Bannen Way. She lends her voice to lead primatologist Jane in the animated series Gorillaville for DreamWorks TV and may be recognized in commercials for Disney Parks, US Cellular, Honey Nut Cheerios and more.

SETH WAYNE - has been seen in diverse roles as Shelly in Glengarry Glen Ross (Best Actor, Lead Role, 4-Star Theater Alliance), and Charlie in Death of a Salesman (Best Actor, Supporting Role, 4-Star Theater Alliance), as well as appearances in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Nick), Brighton Beach Memoirs (Jack), Marty (Marty), Kiss Me Kate (Bill), True West (Austin), Awake and Sing (Sam), Rumors (Glenn), Judy's Scary Little Christmas (Bing Crosby), and others. TV/Film: See You In My Dreams, Hail, Caesar! (2016), Killing Hasselhoff, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Real Husbands of Hollywood.

PAUL KEANY - Moved to Los Angeles after training in New York with the Atlantic Theater Company. He was one of the founders of the Sum Of Us, an award-winning theater company that developed projects for off-Broadway, where he was fortunate enough to work with playwrights such as Stephen Belber, Denis Johnson and Bixby Elliot, among others. Paul has also trained with HB Studios, the Beverly Hills Playhouse and studied improvisational technique with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. To support his theater addiction, he has done voice-overs, appeared in over 30 commercials and taken roles in soap operas and films, including The Devil Wears Prada.

DANETTE GARRELTS -. After appearing in her first play Oh Hell at the Promenade Playhouse in 2009, she was invited to become a founding member of The Promenade Players Theatre Company. Danette has worked as assistant director with Artistic Director; Natalia Lazarus and performed in All in the Timing, The Laramie Project, In Bed with Tenn, The Dining Room, 6 Characters Looking for an Author and Plays in the Park. In 2013, having had the good fortune of meeting Greg Shane, a founder of the non-profit organization CRE-Outreach that works with veterans, at risk youth and Theater By The Blind (the only all blind theater company in the United States), she had the honor of playing Carrie alongside blind actress, singer and songwriter Caitlin Hernandez in their production of Dreaming in Color. She is currently managing director at the LA Performance Center, which has become her second home. In 2015, she produced and held the lead role of Mary in the LA Performance Center's The Memory of Water.

GARRELT CAMALLIERI - Hailing from Ann Arbor Michigan, where he started performing on stage and working in privately funded films. His passions lead him to travel the world where he trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Currently, living in Los Angeles, Garret has had success both commercially and theatrically. Some of his more notable commercial work includes: McDonalds, Truth Anti-Smoking, and Blackberry. While some of his more notable theatrical credits include: College Humor shorts, (award winning film) Angela Wright and the stage production of The Diary of Anne Frank

The Porcini Test will Open Friday, July 17th, running through August 22nd, with performances Friday & Saturday 8PM and Sunday 7PM at The Promenade Playhouse. Located at 1404 3rd Street Premenade, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
