POLYPHONY at Congregation Emanu-El

On December 7, Polyphony, a renowned music ensemble from Nazareth, Israel, makes its San Francisco debut at Congregation Emanu-El. Founded by musician and educator Nabeel Abboud Ashkar, the ensemble unites Israeli Arab and Jewish musicians to create a concert program that reflects a rich blend of Western classical and Arabic music traditions. Featured musicians include violinists Yuval Nuri Shem-Tov and Loor Jabareen, mezzo-soprano Doreen Sassine, and guest artists such as Maya Belsitzman and Gordon Haramaki.
