Mozart's "Don Giovanni," widely regarded as one of the greatest operas ever written, combines comedy, irony, dark dramatic undercurrents and supernatural powers with defining and magnificent music as it recounts the last day in the life of the infamous, irresistible anti-hero. Despite his beguiling and seductive persona, the young and handsome nobleman Don Giovanni (Don Juan), is an arrogant, reprehensible and relentless womanizing cad in selfish pursuit of his conquests. When offered the chance to repent in the face of his own damnation, his unflinching defiance determines his fate.
