San Francisco's EXIT Theatre Marks 25th Anniversary
This year, San Francisco's EXIT Theatre marks its 25th year of commissioning, developing and producing ground-breaking new work and presenting independent artists from across the U.S. and beyond.
Called "The Best Off-Beat Theatre" and "The Best (3,000 miles) Off-Broadway Theatre" by the Bay Area press, EXIT is kicking off its 25th year with a season-long "Spend Another 25 With Us" fundraiser. EXIT's goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of 2008.
Artistic director Christina Augello, herself named "Best Producer" and "Working Woman of the Year" by the local press, is enthusiastic about EXIT's past and future.
EXIT Theatre has set up an online donation form at www.theexit.org. Donations can also be mailed in to EXIT Theatre, 156 Eddy Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. Ms. Augello also welcomes calls to her at (415) 931-1094.
