South Bay Musical Theatre presents its 2012 Spring musical, GUYS AND DOLLS. Featuring colorful characters, hit songs and a clever story line, GUYS AND DOLLS is a fable of gambling men and the women who long to tame them.
We have a first look at the production photos below!
It all begins with a bet: high-roller Sky Masterson wagers his cohort Nathan Detroit that he can successfully romance the seemingly unattainable Sarah Brown, leader of the Save-A-Soul Mission. Nathan has his own hands full trying to find a spot for his “floating” crap game while keeping one step ahead of his fiancée’s clutches. The score is a treasure trove of hit songs like Luck Be a Lady, A Bushel and a Peck, Adelaide’s Lament, If I Were a Bell, Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat and the title tune, Guys and Dolls.
The show opens tonight, May 19 and runs through Saturday, June 9 at the Saratoga Civic Theater. For tickets ($38 Opening Night May 19, 2012, $30 general; $28 seniors; $20.00 children under 12) or more information, the public may contact the South Bay Musical Theatre box office at 408-266-4734, or visit www.SouthBayMT.com.
