Oasis to Launch 'MAN FRANCISCO'
Oasis, San Francisco's hottest new nightclub and cabaret theater, is about to get even hotter! Oasis announced today the opening of MAN FRANCISCO: The Evolution of the San Fransexy Man, a 175-year journey from the Gold Rush to the tech boom, as told through male sensual dance.
This upscale, tasteful, male striptease - exclusively at Oasis - caters to the fantasies of men and women of all ages and preferences. MAN FRANCISCO will run every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Press night will be held on Wednesday, July 15. General Admission tickets are $20. Front Row Premium tables available with Champagne purchase or bottle service start at $200 and include a front row table for four guests. Bachelorette packages are available for a complete party evening. Personal at-table dances are available after the show. History lessons in school were never this interesting. Billed as the "ultimate girls' and gays' night out," patrons will meet the confident men who struck out to find gold in those hills, the bold firemen who saved a quivering City after the 1906 earthquake and the courageous seaman who sailed for the war in the Pacific. These sexy brave bold friendly men are the stuff fantasies are made of, now just an arm's length away.
Inspired by the style and polish of Las Vegas, MAN FRANCISCO is choreographed and costumed by Christopher James Dunn, veteran Las Vegas show dancer and current member of Dance Theater of San Francisco. MAN FRANCISCO is comprised of five of the sexiest Bay Area male club dancers including Colin Emerald, Donovan Lewis, Thomas Julio Rodriguez, Jon Shield, and Chad Stewart.
"This is a truly one-of-a-kind, only in San Francisco show," says Dunn. "I'm excited to bring a touch of that Las Vegas razzle-dazzle to the Bay Area."
Bar opens at 6pm for pre-show cocktails and food by famous Sneaky's BBQ - a pop-up restaurant within Oasis with vegetarian options.
In addition to MAN FRANCISCO, Oasis presents Oasis Follies on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Hosted by Holotta Tymes, star of the world-famous Finocchio's, Oasis Follies features a revolving cast of San Francisco's top drag artists in an evening of classic female impersonation. From stand-up comedy to burlesque (and everything in between).
Oasis opened New Year's Eve and has quickly become a locals favorite. Voted Best New Nightclub by readers of the SF Weekly, Best New Nightclub by readers of the Bay Area Reporter and selected as Best Gay Club in SF by the Editors of the SF Weekly. The partnership includes legendary San Francisco Drag Superstar Heklina, producer of the 20 year old club Trannyshack (now called Mother), and comedic drag powerhouse and one of the stars of Sex and the City LIVE!, D'Arcy Drollinger. Both artists have been wowing audiences for decades and have designed a venue in Oasis that is sure to continue to impress audiences for years to come. Oasis is now San Francisco's new theatrical home for unique, edgy and sexy shows in a comfortable 140-seat theater with cocktail tables and table service.
