Naught But Pirates Returns to Exit, Owens to Host Cabaret

Naught But Pirates, playwright/performer Sean Owens' show, which won the Audience Choice Award at the Frigid New York Theatre Festival, will return to the Exit Theatre in San Francisco for a June 8-30 run. The show is directed by Kenny Shults, and features original music by long-time Owens collaborator Don Seaver.

Owens will also host the DIVA Cabaret as part of San Francisco's DIVAfest, April 26-May 26, at the Cabaret Room at Original Joe's restaurant, 144 Taylor Street in San Francisco. The cabaret features newly developed material by Bay Area singers and songwriters Alison Bloomfield, Lua Hadar, Mia Paschal, Amy Tobin, Diane Valory, and poetess Pieerni Sundaralinga.  Don Seaver contributes original musical compositions and piano accompaniment. 

DIVA Cabaret  runs Fridays & Saturdays, April 27, 28, May 4, 5, 11, 12 – 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $10, and available by calling (415) 673-3847. For more information, visit www.theexit.org.
