Magic Theatre continues its 40th Anniversary Season with HOT HOUSE 2007 featuring the best of "three world premiere plays by playwrights from a new generation shaping the future of American Theatre." In its fourth year, HOT HOUSE presents full productions of new plays in rotating repertory by Chantal Bilodeau, Kirsten Greenidge and C. Michele Kaplan. HOT HOUSE 2007 intensifies the new plays experience with theatre-intensive weekends, Band Jams (live music after Saturday night performances), inContext panels, talkbacks and special new plays forums.

Pleasure & Pain by Chantal Bilodeau, directed by Associate Artistic Director Jessica Heidt is "a sexy, suspenseful thriller." The next play is Rust by Kirsten Greenidge, directed by Raelle Myrick-Hodges. It "explores racial stereotypes with a bold theatrical imagination." The final play in this year's line-up is Bot by C. Michele Kaplan, directed by Artistic Director Chris Smith, Bot centers on "a young computer genius, whose vision may change our world forever."

HOT HOUSE 2007 runs Saturday, February 3 - Sunday, April 1 with shows in repertory.
