Joanie Leeds Brings 'Brooklyn Baby!' Show to Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose

Award-winning kids' musician Joanie Leeds will bring a little bit of Brooklyn to the South Bay with a fun-filled, all-ages Brooklyn Baby! show at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 22 at the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose, 180 Woz Way, San Jose, CA. Joanie Leeds' solo performance will be a high energy, interactive experience from start to finish, showcasing an array of genre-hopping tunes from her new album, Brooklyn Baby!

In addition to such Brooklyn-esque songs as "Ferry Nice","Shayne Punim," "By Myself," and "Library Book," Joanie Leeds promises to play plenty of fan favorites like her crazy "Freeze Dance," "I Wanna Be Green," and "Joanie's Top 10 Rock and Roll Songs," which features choruses parents will recognize from classic rock songs like "Satisfaction," "Paradise City, and "Hey Jude."

Through the years, this has not only been a great performance venue, it's also been a terrific place for my own discoveries. Highly praised in People magazine, Parents Magazine, The New York Times and The Washington Post, Joanie Leeds' original kids' music won first place in the USA Songwriting Competition, as well as winning an Independent Music Award, Parents' Choice Gold Award, NAPPA Gold Award, and Family Choice Award. Joanie was a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the International Songwriting Competition.
