Hillbarn Theatre to Stage to KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, 3/10-27

By:

This March, Harper Lee's beloved novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, comes to life at Hillbarn Theatre. Set in Alabama during The Great Depression, this Pulitzer Prize-winning novel sees racial injustice envelop a small-town community. Through courage and compassion, lawyer Atticus Finch seeks the truth, and his feisty daughter, Scout - a young girl on the cusp of adulthood - brings new hope to a neighborhood in turmoil. This timeless classic compels audiences to take an honest look at our nation's past and humanities moral responsibility to each other.

To Kill a Mockingbird will run March 10-27, 2016 at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City). Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Press night for To Kill a Mockingbird will be Friday, March 11, 2016. Single tickets range in price from $25 - $48 and are available now by calling 650.349.6411 ext. 2 or visiting www.hillbarntheatre.org.

Led by Brian Levi as Atticus Finch, Emily Mannion as Scout and Anthone Jackson as Tom Robinson, To Kill a Mockingbird features an ensemble cast of actors including AnJu Hyppolite, Sarah Birdsall, Jacob Rosen, Juliana Lustenader, Barbara Heninger, Katie Maupin, Stephanie Crowley, David Blackburn, Tyler Groshong, Rich Mati, CC Sheldon, Henry Kaiser, Galen Poulton, Robert Fairless, Hilary Stevens, Jack Barrett and Joseph Gloss.
