Cal Shakes Announces Cast Change For HAPPY DAYS; Marsha Mason Withdraws, Replacement To Be Named Shortly

California Shakespeare Theater (Cal Shakes) today announced a casting change to its production of Samuel Beckett's Happy Days, directed by Jonathan Moscone. Marsha Mason has withdrawn from the production because of personal reasons; a replacement will be named shortly.

"I am very sad that Marsha had to leave the show," commented Jonathan Moscone. "Both of us very much look forward to working together on another project in the future."

Happy Days begins previews Wednesday, August 12, opens Saturday, August 15, and runs through Sunday, September 6. Single tickets range from $32-$68, with discounts available for seniors, students, persons age 30 and under, and groups. Prices subject to change.
