Broadway Buddies Ambler & Brandt to Premiere New Duo Act at Feinstein's at the Nikko
Singers and actors Jim Ambler [Footloose (original Broadway cast), Saturday Night Fever, The Producers, Cats] and Pierce Peter Brandt (LES MISERABLES, Martin Guerre, Jesus Christ Superstar) are making their cabaret debut as a duo in "Two on the Boards" at Feinstein's at the Nikko in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 (7pm, doors open 5:30). "Two on the Boards" is something of a hybrid -- it's a retrospective of songs from many of their Broadway shows, and it's a nod to some of the famous duos and duets of our time.
Two on the Boards features musical director and cabaret veteran, Billy Philadelphia (who has played with Dame Edna, Andy Williams, Nell Carter, Little Richard, Vanessa Williams, Ben Vereen, James Galway, Mariette Hartley, Rita Moreno, and Andrea Marcovicci) and a special guest appearance by popular San Francisco chanteuse and Feinstein's favorite, Melissa O'Keefe.
