Boxcar Theatre presents Rent Boy Ave.: A "Fairy's" Tale, an urban rock fairy tale. Book and Lyrics by Nick A. Olivero, music by Michael Mohammed, directed by Wolfgang Wachalovsky. Runs July 16 through August 8.
David is a new kid to the street and Mark is a veteran of male prostitution at the early age of seventeen. Struggling to survive a nasty world littered with deceptively innocent inhabitants, insatiable hunger, and a bible-thumping nun, they navigate dangerous alleys and pal around with Jackie, a Little Red Riding Hood-esque prostitute fighting a drug addiction and her big bad wolf of a pimp. It doesn't take long though for David to slip down the rabbit's hole of regret while Mark wrestles to find his way home.

Dan Weiermann, costume design by Sarah Beth Parks.
