La Jolla Playhouse presents the world premiere of The Heart, a musical directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley, featuring a cast led by Heidi Blickenstaff as Claire and Lincoln Clauss as Thomas Driscoll. Based on the novel Réparer les Vivants by Maylis de Kerangal, the story unfolds over 24 hours in San Diego, following a heart's life-saving journey after the tragic loss of a young surfer. With a gripping book by Kait Kerrigan and an electronic score by Anne and Ian Eisendrath, this production promises to be a thrilling exploration of hope and human connection.
