Fruition is a new live-looping musical with a book by Krystal Ortiz, composer/lyrics/looping by Satya Chavez, directed by Juliette Carrillo, with music direction by Alan Mendez and dramaturgy by Daphnie Sicre. The musical examines the inheritance of queerness—both celebrated and suppressed—through the intimate, tangled lives of two young queer women and their mothers. It is presented as a full-length musical concert reading at the 2026 LTC Carnaval of New Latinx Musicals.
