Telly Leung to Bring 'THE UPS & DOWNS OF LOVE' to San Diego, 2/13

Broadway and Television's Telly Leung (Godspell, Rent, Wicked, Glee) returns to San Diego for a special Valentine's Day Eve show on Thursday, February 13 at 8 pm at Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage entitled, "Telly Leung: The Ups & Downs of Love."

Leung and his jazz trio will offer an eclectic evening of great love songs from the world of pop and Broadway as he shares the universal stories of the ups and downs of love.

San Diego audiences will remember Leung for his portrayal of Young Sam, opposite George Takei and Lea Salonga, in the world premiere of the Broadway-bound musical Allegiance, at The Old Globe Theater.

A veteran of Rent's final Broadway cast, Telly Leung made his Broadway debut in the 2002 revival of Flower Drum Song. He starred in the first Broadway revival of Pacific Overtures in 2004 and originated the role of Boq in the Chicago cast of Wicked. Leung was also featured as a member of the Dalton Academy Warblers on TV's Glee. He returned to Broadway in the 2011 revival of Godspell. Telly Leung's debut solo recording {i'll cover you} is available on the Yellow Sound Label.
