Actors Alliance of San Diego has announced that they will be producing Carrie the musical as part of their 2014 AASD Summer Theatre Intensive. During our three week training program Emerging Professional Artist will focus on audition preparation, marketing materials, the Business of the Business, and will rehearse for their production of Carrie the Musical to be present at Moxie Theatre this weekend, August 16 - 17, 2014.

The production will be directed and choreographed by Jacob Brent and music directed by Shane Simmons.

"The goal of this program is to provide highly professional and intense training to young actors as they step into their professional careers", says AASD Managing Director, Bryan Stanton, "career development and realistic performance opportunities are key and this will be a production you do not want to miss".

The students attending the program include students from the University of Southern California, Coronado School of the Arts, San Dieguito Academy, Canyon Crest Academy, and San Diego State University. Students will participate in Master Classes with Candis Casting, Shamon Freitas Casting Agency, Hayden Milanes front he National Tour of "Jersey Boys", and will have a mock audition in front of representatives from The La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, Ocean Beach Ensemble Experiment, and the San Diego Fringe Festival.
