The University of Utah Department of Theatre Presents Moliere's THE WOULD-BE GENTLEMAN

Moliere's comedy THE WOULD-BE GENTLEMAN tells the tale of Monsieur Jourdain, a middle-class tradesman who yearns to become a member of the aristocracy. With the help of a hand-picked entourage of masters who are convinced they can act their way into the upper class, they bumble into the company of the upper crust - convincing no one but themselves. Moliere is the master of comedy of manners, and THE WOULD-BE GENTLEMAN doesn't disappoint. Directed by guest artist Gordon Reinhart.
