Franklinland at The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre

Franklinland, a comedy by Lloyd Suh, follows Benjamin Franklin and his son William through a series of scientific experiments, political upheavals, and strained conversations set between 1752 and 1785. As Franklin pursues discovery and a utopian vision called "Franklinland," William grapples with a more personal challenge: how to become his own person when his father is Benjamin Franklin. Peter Story plays Benjamin Franklin, with Tim Liu as William Franklin and Braden Delgado as William Temple in his B Street Theatre debut. The play balances humor with deeper themes of legacy, identity, and the cost of living in someone else's shadow.
