The 29th Annual Elly Award Ceremony Set for 9/25 at the Crest Theatre
The premiere event of the community theatre season - The Elly Awards - will be held on Sunday, September 25 at the Crest Theatre located at 1013 K Street in downtown Sacramento from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. Youth Awards will begin at 6pm and Adult Awards will begin at 8pm. This elegant event will honor the best and brightest in local and regional community theatre. Actors, designers and directors will announce the names of over 80 winners who will receive engraved plaques! Musical production numbers will be performed by Elly-nominated theatres including the now-defunct Civic Theatre West, Davis Musical Theatre Company, Runaway Stage Productions, and The Acting Company. This years' featured orchestra is from Rio Americano High School.
Tickets are on sale now. General Admission is $25; SARTA members and groups of 10 or more: $20 and Elly Nominees are offered a reduced price of only $8!
