THE LITTLE MERMAID, JR., to Open at Imagination Theater, 4/5

Imagination Theater announces the Disney favorite, The Little Mermaid, Jr., opens Friday, April 5 and runs through Sunday, April 28. Shows are at 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and with matinees at 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. There are also two Saturday morning shows on April 20 and 27 at 10:30 a.m.

Based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. First, she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she's the girl with the enchanting voice.

Adapted from Disney's 2008 Broadway production, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. features the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She's in Love," and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea."

Tickets can be purchased at www.imagination-theater.org or through the box office at (530) 642-0404. All tickets are $12 and seating is reserved. Imagination Theater, located on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, brings quality, live, local community theater to Placerville and El Dorado County.
