Country Star Terri Clark Comes to Harris Center 8/13

One of country music's most beloved female performers-- passionate, spirited, and every bit her own woman-Terri Clark was the eight-time Canadian Country Music Awards' Entertainer of the Year and has also taken home the CCMA Female Vocalist of the Year award five times. She's sold platinum albums up north and here in the States--"Girls Lie Too," "You're Easy on the Eyes," "If I Were You," "Poor Poor Pitiful Me," "Emotional Girl," and "In My Next Life" are among her 20 best-selling singles.

Terri Clark will take perform on Sunday, August 13, 2017, 7 pm. Tickets are $38-$58; Premium seats are $68. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street.

After years of performing in Nashville honky-tonks, her first single, "Better Things to Do," broke the top five on U.S. and Canadian charts. She made her mark on radio ever since with more than twenty singles.

A dynamic, no-holds-barred live performer and one of the rare female country artists capable of throwing down some impressive guitar work, Terri has toured with such superstars as Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, and George Strait. In addition, she continues to headline sold-out tours throughout Canada.

Terri honed her skills on the other side of the radio as part of NASH on America's Morning Show which lead to her taking over as host of Country Gold with Terri Clark in April 2016. Country Gold is a four-hour Classic Country radio show that airs on more than 100 stations across the US and Canada. The show is a music-intensive, fan- interactive program with guest artists and country music's best music from the 80's and 90's.

Terri has sold over five million albums and achieved Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum, and Triple Platinum status as certified by the CRIA and RIAA. She also has the honor of being the only Canadian female artist to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

The Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College brings the community together to share in cultural experiences featuring the work of artists from throughout the region and around the world.
