Capital Stage Company Presents SUPERIOR DONUTS

Capital Stage opens in its new location with the regional premiere of white hot American playwright Tracy Letts' Superior Donuts tonight through November 13 (opening night Saturday, October 15.) With the opening of Sacramento's newest performance venue at 2215 J Street, Capital Stage celebrates neighborhood and community with Letts' funny and insightful character study of contemporary America's new melting pot. From the author of August: Osage County, this heart-felt comedy set in an uptown Chicago neighborhood crosses cultures and generations.
Performances for Superior Donuts will begin with six previews on Friday, October 7 at 8pm; Saturday, October 8 at 8pm; Sunday, October 9 at 2pm; Wednesday, October 12 at 7pm; Thursday, October 13 at 8pm; Friday, October 14 at 8pm and will open on Saturday, October 15 at 8pm. Performances continue through November 13, 2011. Showtimes will be Wednesdays at 7pm, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. General tickets range from $20-$32. Discount tickets are available as follows: Preview Tickets are $18; Student Rush Tickets are $12; Senior Sunday Matinee Tickets are $26; and Group Rates are available for parties of 12 or more.
