Artisan Theatre Presents TICK TICK...BOOM, Now-11/14
Jonathan Larson's Tick Tick...BOOM is now playing at the Artisan Theatre in Sacramento until November 14.
Before Jonathan Larson created RENT, he explored his own life as a songwriter. An intimate portrait of the artist turning 30 while trying to write the great American musical, Tick, Tick...BOOM reminds us to pursue our dreams through life's most difficult challenges. "What does it take to wake up a generation?"
Performances are every Thursday and Friday at 8pm and Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm.
Tickets range in price from $15-$20 and can be purchased at the door or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.
With a growing reputation as one of the finest "black box" theaters in the region, the Artisan Theater provides another venue for performing arts in the Sacramento Metropolitan area. It accommodates 85 people with state of the art lighting, acoustics and sound.
