The House of Music presents 100 VIOLINS BUDAPEST SYMPHONY on Nov. 10.
The concert to be given by the 100 Violins Budapest Symphony Orchestra will introduce Muscovites to one of the major Gypsy music bands, founded in 1985 after the death of violinist Sandor Yarok. In memory of the maestro, his colleagues founded a Gypsy symphony orchestra joined by leading Hungarian violinists, violists and cellists. Thehighlight of the current 100 Violins Orchestra is 50 violinists and no director, as a different soloist is in charge of each item on the program.
