THE HEIRESS at The Manor Club

The Heiress, a play by Ruth and Augustus Goetz is based on the Henry James novel, Washington Square. The play, set in 1850 New York City, follows the story of Catherine, a plain but exceedingly wealthy young woman. When she falls in love with a charming but penniless suitor, her father is immediately suspicious the man is after her inheritance.
