A star-studded night of music will take place at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester when Musicians United for ALS: The Blues and More brings together an extraordinary lineup of artists for a benefit concert supporting ALS United Greater New York. The event was created by singer/songwriter Vaneese Thomas and her husband, legendary recording engineer and producer Wayne Warnecke, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2022.
Featured performers include Average White Band, The Original Blues Brothers Band, Tom Chapin, Shemekia Copeland, Paul Shaffer, Carla Thomas, Vaneese Thomas, and The Uptown Horns. Artists subject to change.
Proceeds benefit ALS United Greater New York, one of the largest ALS organizations in the United States, supporting research, care services, community education, and advocacy for people living with ALS.
