"Much Ado About Nothin' " is the favorite Shakespeare comedy set in the Blue Ridge Mountains in 1945 - just after the end of World War II. This is the story of Beatrice and Benedick - the two wits who, despite their protestations that they will never marry, are tricked by their friends into falling in love. But it's also the story of Claudio, Hero, and Don John and the plot to destroy love by ruining a woman's reputation - and the unlikely success of the bumbling, Barney-Fife-like sheriff, Dogberry, to uncover that plot and restore the lovers to each other.
