Romeo and Juliet
by William Shakespeare
Directed by Roger Lemelin
March 10, 11, 12 and 17, 18, 19
Set in Verona, this classic is the story of the long feud between the Montague and Capulet families, which casts a terrible shadow over the forbidden love between the main characters, Romeo and Juliet. The events contrast hatred and revenge with love and a secret marriage, forcing the young star-crossed lovers to grow up quickly and die tragically in despair.
Romeo and Juliet will be performed March 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th at 7:30pm. Sunday performances on March 12th and 19th will take place at 2:00pm. Please arrive no later than ten minutes prior to curtain time.
Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at (401) 273-0590 or by email at players1909@gmail.com
