A CHRISTMAS CAROL Opens Next Week at Stage 82

Whether you've been naughty or nice this year, treat yourself to Artists' Exchange's 13th Annual production of A Christmas Carol this December. The fresh, new, and inspired re-telling opens this Thursday, December 8th at Theatre 82 and runs thru Sunday, December 11th in the wonderfully intimate black box theatre. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, available for purchase online (www.artists-exchange.org), by phone (401-490-9475), or in person (50 Rolfe Square, Cranston).

Adapted and directed by Jessica Chace, this year's show is not your typical A Christmas Carol. Set in modern day America, the show examines human connection and "being connected" with surprises with twists and turns along the way... Marley's a woman; Scrooge & Marley's partnership runs deeper; Freddie's marriage is unconventional; the Cratchits have new family dynamics, etc. Music Director Tom Chace has created all original music that will pique music lovers' ears and delight with its playful, modern beats on beloved classics and contemporary carols.

Can't make the first weekend? Buy your tickets now for the second weekend performed at the Historic Park Theatre, December 15-17th. Park Theatre tickets are $18 in advance and $22 at the door. Plan a date night or family night out with "Dinner & Show" on Friday, December 9th or Saturday, December 10th at Theatre 82, catered by Character's Café. Dinner buffet includes salad and rolls, two entrees, pasta, and vegetable dishes. Meal and show ticket only $25 per person with dinner at 5:30pm and show at 7pm. Guests enjoy an elegant evening of fine food and drink and VIP seating at the Park Theatre for the production's final performance.
