In a new interview, Lady Gaga shared some details about the nature of her singing in the upcoming film Joker: Folie á Deux. The superstar revealed that she had to adjust her approach to musical material for her role as Lee (aka Harley Quinn) in the sequel.

Funny Girl is a solidly entertaining vehicle for a high-profile performance by Katerina McCrimmon as beloved vaudeville performer Fanny Brice. Now playing at the Kennedy Center, this popular musical (from the original stage version starring Barbra Streisand and her Oscar-winning performance in the 1968 hit film –and the recent hit on Broadway starring Lea Michele) is a lively, sassy, and brassy summer musical treat. 

Opening night tickets are available for the opening night performance of Theatre 29’s annual fundraising musical revue “Mis-Cast” on Friday, June 28th at 7:00PM.

There was a buzz in the lobby of the opera house and scalpers galore outside the doors to the ticket office for soprano Asmik Grigorian’s recent sell-out concert at the Vienna State Opera. Clearly, it was a night that the audience was waiting for--this first recital at the house by soprano Grigorian, one of today's great international stars.

I was so excited to interview Jimmy Moore, the Producing Artistic Director of the San Pedro Playhouse. This reviewer has said it before and shall say it again, Kevin Winebold is a one-man orchestra! His KEVIN ON THE KEYS CELEBRATES HOLLYWOOD show on April 25, 2024 was an entertaining night out featuring masterful piano and tap dance.

Philadelphia cabaret performer, Tyler Houchins, has announced a return of his solo performance, Down A Yellow Brick Road, celebrating legendary actress and vocalist Judy Garland, Thursday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 22 at 8:00 p.m at Rosy’s Taco Bar East in South Philadelphia, bringing cabaret back to former site of L’Étage, the cabaret venue which shuttered in 2020.
