Burning Coal Theatre Company presents the KidsWrite! Festival, showcasing original one-act plays created by North Carolina students in grades 6 through 12. This year's festival features seven selected scripts including Orpheus by Taite Capes, which tells the story of a musician's desperate journey to rescue his wife from the Underworld. Directed by Susan Gross, the festival runs for two performances on May 23 and 24, 2025, at the Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh.
