A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows multiple stories as they interact and intertwine with each other over the course of one night. The play begins with a love triangle of four young lovers - Lysander, Hermia, Demtrius, and Helena - showing how their relationships unfold and are later altered by the magic of the forest’s fae creatures. The fairies, led by the Fairy Queen Titania and King Oberon, also bring a group of laborers into their mischief - chaos erupting in the midst of rehearsals for the workers’ play of their own. In the span of just one night, the play’s characters experience their world turning upside down and right side up before dawn breaks.
Tickets are $30/$25 for students. As part of Stone Soup’s commitment to providing theatre accessible to everyone in our community, Sunday, April 26th is a “Pay What You Can” performance. To buy tickets: https://stonesouptheatreco.ludus.com/index.php
